About Us

Partnering with families to raise the next generation of Christ-followers.

Who We Are

Our Mission

Good News Christian Academy exists to partner with families in raising the next generation of Christ-followers. We are committed to providing a nurturing, Christ-centered education grounded in biblical truth — where students grow academically, spiritually, and socially in a community that reflects the love of Jesus.

Our experienced educators integrate Scripture into every subject, helping students develop a solid biblical worldview while achieving academic excellence. Small class sizes allow for personalized attention and meaningful, lasting relationships among students, teachers, and families.

Our Foundation

Our Core Values

Excellence in Education

We are committed to rigorous academics that challenge and equip students for a lifetime of learning, preparing them to excel in every area of life.

Christ-Centered in Environment

Every aspect of school life — from curriculum to community — is grounded in the love of Jesus Christ and the transforming power of the Gospel.

Biblical in Truth

Scripture is woven through every subject and every interaction, giving students a strong biblical worldview as the foundation for all of life.

Statement of Faith

What We Believe

Our faith is grounded in the historic Christian faith. Below is our full Statement of Faith.

Scripture

The Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the living Word of God, fully inspired, without error, and are the infallible rule of faith and practice.

God the Father

God the Father is the infinite Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love, who concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men. He hears and answers the prayers of the righteous and saves from sin and the second death all who come to Him through faith in Jesus Christ.

God the Son

Jesus Christ is God's only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He lived a sinless life, died a substitutionary death on a cross, rose victoriously and ascended into heaven where He now sits at the right hand of the Father making perpetual intercession for His people. He will soon make a visible return to earth.

God the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the active presence of God on the earth convicting men of sin, and leading them into truth and righteousness. He sanctifies and empowers the believer to become living representations of Jesus Christ on the earth today. We affirm His present ministry and the exercise of all biblical spiritual gifts.

Man

All people are born sinners by nature and by choice, therefore, are under condemnation. God regenerates by the Holy Spirit all who repent of their sins and confess Jesus Christ as Lord.

Baptism of the Holy Spirit

Jesus Christ baptizes the seeking believer with the Holy Spirit with the initial physical evidence of speaking in tongues, empowering them for service and to live a holy life.

The Church

The universal Church is the living spiritual body of Christ on the earth composed of everyone who has repented of sin and received Jesus Christ as Lord.

Ordinances

Jesus committed two ordinances to the Church: 1) Baptism and 2) The Lord's Supper. We practice baptism by immersion and communion open to all believers.

Tithes and Offerings

We believe in the tithe (the first ten percent of our income) that belongs to the Lord, offerings that are given willingly and alms that are given to the poor. We are to be good stewards of the resources entrusted to us, understanding that all we have comes from Him. We believe in being generous as God has been generous with us in all aspects of life.

Divine Healing

Divine healing is an integral part of the gospel. In Jesus' atoning work healing has been provided. Healing is a privilege available to all believers.

Laying on of Hands

We practice the laying on of hands for the baptism of the Holy Spirit, for ordination of pastors, elders, and deacons, and for ministering to the sick.

Last Days

There will be a personal, visible return of Christ to the earth and the establishment of His kingdom. There will be the final judgment for those who rejected Christ and the eternal blessing of the righteous.

Eternal Life

There is a real place of paradise called Heaven for all who have rejected sin and received Christ to spend eternity. Conversely, there is a real place of eternal torment called Hell for those who have rejected the Good News of salvation through Jesus Christ.
